Ray Palmer originally made his New 52 debut in Jeff Lemire's Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E. at the beginning of the New 52. That series was cancelled relatively early on, and since then Frankenstein has been seen in Justice League Dark, but Ray Palmer has been relatively unheard of. Oh, and he was never his superheroic identity, the Atom, at all in the New 52. But, Rhonda Pineda infiltrated both the Justice League and Justice League of America teams by pretending to be the main Earth's Atom...when actually she was Earth-3's Crime Syndicate version, named Atomica.
Besides her, there has been no New 52 Atom despite Ray Palmers appearances, but finally we get to see Ray don an Atom-esque outfit in Batman/Superman #10 to help Superman save Batman's life. Check out a preview here. The issue will be released on May 7th.
