Okay just saying, one of the reasons that I never actually started reading BATWING was because of Ben Oliver's art. I mean he is a really good artist and everything, and I'm sure he's a great guy...but I'm not a fan of his art as interior art. That's kind of like Alex Ross. I mean his cover work is AMAZING. And I went and saw his (Alex Ross') art show at the Andy Warhol museum and I was in awe the whole time. But his interior art isn't as interesting to me.
But anyway, I love Judd Winick's writing, I like Marcus To's style, and so therefore I'm hoping this issue is great and maybe I can start picking up BATWING from now on.

Tim Drake starring in Batman: The Dark Knight #9
Well I guess this is no surprise. Tim Drake is already in a crossover going on in TEEN TITANS, so it's no surprise really that Tim will have to be somewhere else for the upcoming COURT OF OWLS Crossover event. But it's odd that he will be in a series starring Batman, considering in issue #1 of TEEN TITANS it was implied that he and Bruce had some kind of falling out.
Tim Drake happens to be my favorite of the four Robins, and I absolutely love David Finch art (but maybe not quite as much as Brett Booth art), PLUS Judd Winick is gonna be filling in on this issue. It should be a really good issue. And maybe Judd and then after this Gregg Hurwitz can get me to read this series again. I just feel like maybe it was the story and the writing that drove me off.
